Job Summary
Assist with procedures ordered by a physician or registered nurse, respond to Code Blue and trauma resuscitation calls, and perform assigned clerical duties. Provide training support to other staff members under the direction of a registered nurse. This full-time evening role at Ascension St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI requires a Certified BLS Provider and one of several state or national credentials, including Licensed Emergency Medical Tech, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant.
Required Qualifications
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the state of Wisconsin obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Certified Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting
- Certified Home Health Aide credentialed from the state of Wisconsin
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a CNA, EMT, MA or HHA program

- Completion of a medical terminology class
