Job Summary
Emergency Department Tech PRN provides patient care under ED Physicians and RNs, assisting with patient transport, vital signs and ECG setup, IV starts, specimen collection, patient ambulation and positioning, documentation, room turnover, and stocking. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and BLS; EMT-I/EMT-P strongly preferred (EMT-Basic with IV cert acceptable). Must be eligible to work in the United States. On-site role with PRN shifts covering day/evening/weekends. Benefits include retirement plans, loan forgiveness eligibility, and various shift differentiators.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
- EMT-I (Intermediate) or EMT-P (Paramedic) strongly preferred
- EMT-Basic with IV Certification acceptable but preferred not required
- ED Tech or Emergency Room experience preferred
