Job Summary
Emergency Department (RN) opportunity in the Washington, DC area for a qualified nurse with ADN or higher. Responsibilities include delivering urgent medical care, treating trauma and medical emergencies, rapid triage, monitoring and administering medications, operating medical equipment, participating in code blue and other emergencies, collaborating with physicians to develop care plans, and educating patients/families on conditions and care plans. Shifts available include day, night, and mid shifts. Competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus are listed.
Required Qualifications
- ADN or higher degree in nursing
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- 1+ years of experience in an emergency room (ER) setting preferred
- ACLS, PALS certification preferred
- Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedure
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
