Job Summary
Emergency Department RN for a 30-hour night-shift role at a hospital in Clackamas, OR. The RN assesses, plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care for patients, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, documents in the EMR, and participates in discharge planning. Requires ED experience (minimum nine months) and an Oregon RN license; credentialing includes BLS, ACLS, PALS (within stated timelines), and NIH Stroke Scale certification. Preferred qualifications include a BSN or related degree and additional certifications such as CEN or TNCC, with demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and to work within nursing processes and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or equivalent
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire OR alternative pediatric emergency course within 6 months of hire
- AdvancedCardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire
