Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Part Time 3p - 3:30a

Emergency Department RN providing individualized nursing care through the nursing process with focus on medication administration, planning and documentation of care, patient/family-centered care, and safe, compliant practice. Responsibilities include medication administration and reconciliation, developing and updating patient care plans, timely admission assessments, ongoing reassessment, documentation per nursing policy, effective communication of the plan of care, facilitating discharge/transfer, maintaining a culture of safety, pursuing professional development, utilizing technology (Lotus Notes and department software), and ensuring compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes collaboration with patients and families, ethical considerations, and support for diverse patient populations, with 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM shifts noted in the job title; minimum education is a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; prior acute care RN experience preferred.
