Job Summary
Emergency Department Registered Nurse accountable for the nursing process and direct patient care, administer medications and procedures per policies, coordinate care across the continuum with patient/family education, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; participates in unit-level quality improvement and customer service initiatives; requires a BSN or ADN with current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 1 year of ER experience.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program BSN or ADN
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Health Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- At least one (1) year of recent Emergency Room RN work experience is required
