Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within emergency department guidelines. Educate patients and families on illness management, home care needs, and medication administration while promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum of care. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care, including patient preferences and cultural values. Work in a constant state of alertness in a safety-sensitive position managing a broad spectrum of emergencies including trauma, cardiopulmonary arrest, and pediatric injuries.
