Emergency Department Registered Nurse - 24 hours/wk, 11p-7:30a

Emergency Department Registered Nurse needed for 24 hours per week (11:00 PM–7:30 AM shift) in Marshfield, MA. Responsibilities include medication administration per SSH policies, medication reconciliation, documentation of narcotic handling, and nurse-led planning of individualized patient care with ongoing assessment and family-centered communication. The role involves maintaining patient safety and quality through adherence to policies, regulatory standards, and standard nursing practices, including identifying barriers to discharge, utilizing appropriate pain assessment, and coordinating care with the care team. Proficiency with technology used in the department (e.g., Lotus Notes) and compliance with privacy and security requirements is required. Licensure as RN and related certifications (BLS, ACLS, and potentially NRP, PALS, TNCC, TCAR) are specified as prerequisites; ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues across disciplines are emphasized.
