Job Summary
Graduate Nurse Residency – 16-week program in Mercy St. Louis Emergency Department. Full-time role with three 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm). Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers, coordinating patient care with other departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. The program emphasizes growth within a Level 1 Trauma Center setting, with day-one benefits, and opportunities for professional development and tuition reimbursement. Must be an RN graduate with an active RN license (state or compact) and BLS certification, with upcoming residency start dates in September 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Must obtain/maintain a current RN license (state or compact)
- Must meet all state Board of Nursing requirements
- BLS (AHA) required — or completed within 30 days of hire
