Emergency Department Nurse Assistant Manager

Manage individual nurses by hiring, training, assigning work, and evaluating performance to meet department operational goals. Oversee patient care interventions, document according to policy, and create collaborative care plans based on assessment and diagnosis. Participate in developing departmental staffing and budget goals, then respond to business changes affecting those targets. Support staff hour reviews, approve daily payroll updates, reconcile time cards, and lead staff meetings. Determine staffing needs, assign overtime, and conduct performance evaluations or disciplinary actions as required.
