Emergency Department & Electrocardiography Tech

Perform and document basic patient care procedures under direct RN supervision, including transcribing verbal orders for EKGs and Holter monitoring, collecting blood specimens, and transporting patients via stretcher or wheelchair. Maintain equipment and environmental safety by stocking supplies, performing temperature checks, cleaning unit equipment, and reporting hazards or supply issues to the charge nurse. Ensure competency in assigned tasks through annual training and participate in unit committees or the technician preceptor program as required. Adhere to infection control policies and TriHealth safety standards while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
