Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and nursing support in the Emergency Department, managing acute and trauma cases with EMT or CNA certification. Deliver basic life support and assist with patient stabilization during night shifts and weekend rotations. Maintain 6 months of acute setting experience while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards. Work part-time for 24 hours weekly at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, WI.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or related vocational training
- 6 months of experience in an acute setting patient care role
- EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate, EMT-Paramedic, active enrollment in EMT Paramedic program with IV training completion, or CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- COVID-19 vaccines or an approved medical or religious exemption
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in emergency trauma care
