Emergency Department Clinical Nurse

Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Educates patients and families on illness/injury management, home care needs, and medication administration. Ensures patient safety, participates in quality and regulatory compliance, and develops/implements care plans with the interprofessional team and patient/family. Communicates the plan of care across the continuum and uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs. This is a safety-sensitive position.
