Emergency Department Clinical Nurse

Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established standards of nursing care. Promote patient and family-centered care by educating families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration. Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum of care. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while evaluating patient preferences and barriers to involvement. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development. Maintain a constant state of alertness as this is a safety-sensitive position requiring adherence to all standards of nursing care.
