Job Summary
As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the Emergency Department, you will provide critical care during night shifts, performing medical screenings, diagnosing and managing emergency conditions, and conducting procedures like suturing and wound care. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and coordinate care, ensuring rapid assessments and interventions in a small-town hospital known for its supportive culture and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s, post-master’s, or doctoral NP degree (CCNE or NLNAC accredited)
- Current NE licensure as an RN and NP
- National certification (ANCC or equivalent)
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of APRN experience in acute care
