Emergency Depart ED Rep/ Tech

Emergency Department Technician role providing patient care and support in the ED under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with patient examinations, monitoring vital signs, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, immobilizer application, IV cart stocking, room/area cleanup, and assisting with patient transport, admission, and discharge. Requires a high school diploma or GED, and Maine CNA or EMT-B certification with BLS. Strong communication with patients, families, and staff; maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to policies. CPI training preferred. Maintains certifications and supports student learning as part of a patient-focused care team.
