Job Summary
Triage, deliver nursing care, and perform diagnostics, imaging, and anesthesia for a wide range of emergency cases. Manage IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, central lines, and endoscopy while providing emotional support to pet parents during critical moments. Perform CPR and maintain steady, compassionate presence from first triage to discharge. This per diem role requires CVT certification, 1+ years of experience, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must possess fine motor skills, lift up to 25 kg, and thrive in a fast-paced, noisy environment with strong odors. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program
- Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state the VEG practice is located
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role
- Basic computer skills
- Comprehension of practice management software
- Electronic medical record keeping

- Ability to stand for prolonged hours
