Job Summary
Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician on the front lines of veterinary emergency care, performing triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing; handle IVs and CRIs, blood transfusions, and advanced techniques; communicate with the team and provide emotional support to clients; utilize diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, endoscopy, and ultrasounds; readiness to work nights, weekends, and holidays; state-credentialed CVT/RVT/LVT required with AVMA-accredited program preferred; 1+ year experience in a veterinary technician role; strong communication and teamwork skills; CPR proficiency (RECOVER) and ability to operate in a fast-paced ER environment.
Required Qualifications
- Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state the VEG practice is located
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role
- High school diploma or equivalent
