Job Summary
Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Overnights) in Cambridge, MA: Join VEG’s 24/7 ER team delivering high-quality emergency care. You’ll handle triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, including IVs/CRIs and blood transfusions, while communicating effectively with teammates and pet parents. Requires credentialed veterinary technician status in-state, 1+ year of tech experience (emergency or specialty a plus), and readiness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program (strongly preferred)
- Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of practice
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred
- Proficiency with practice management software and EMR
- Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to stand for prolonged hours and lift up to 25 kg with assistance
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on rotating basis
Desired Qualifications
- VTS in ECC (plus)
- 1+ years experience in veterinary technician role
- AVMA-accredited program strongly preferred
- Credentialed as CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT in the practicing state

- CPR/RECOVER training or certification (preferred)
