Job Summary
Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician role in Goodyear, AZ providing front-line emergency veterinary care: triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing; collaborate with doctors and team to deliver high-quality care; perform CPR, manage IVs/CRIs and blood transfusions, utilize diagnostics and imaging, and employ advanced techniques (central lines, endoscopy, ultrasounds); contribute to care plans and maintain clear communication with the team and pet parents; must be credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the practice state and have 1+ year of veterinary technician experience; strong preference for AVMA-accredited program; willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role
- Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state the VEG practice is located
- AVMA-accredited program strongly preferred for associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology
