Job Summary
Emergency Care Tech to provide hygiene/comfort measures, selected nursing and phlebotomy procedures under RN supervision; acquire vital signs and perform EKGs; care for neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level III Trauma Center ED; duties include venipuncture, specimen handling, and unit tasks under RN direction; 36 hours/week full-time with 7am-7pm and 11am-11pm shifts, weekend and holiday rotations; benefits and competitive pay with shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous work experience or completion of Patient Care Technician and/or Phlebotomist programs
