Emergency Care Tech - Middletown Emergency Department - Overnight - Full-Time Flex

Perform hygiene and comfort measures, administer selected nursing procedures, and conduct phlebotomy including venipuncture and finger sticks under RN supervision. Acquire vital signs, perform EKGs, and review patient testing orders while sending lab specimens via the PowerChart system. Respond to patient crisis situations by initiating interventions within your scope of responsibility and notifying the registered nurse. Provide care appropriate for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients while identifying and addressing patient needs. Work 36 hours per week from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with every third weekend commitment and holiday rotation.
