Job Summary
Provide safe and effective care and transport for non-emergency patients as an Emergency Care Assistant. Deliver emergency care using FREC4 training, including airway management, AED use, oxygen administration, and monitoring vital signs. Safely transport patients to treatment centres, drive and maintain ambulance vehicles, and communicate clearly with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals while protecting patient confidentiality. Meet safeguarding requirements, complete mandatory training (two weeks), obtain DBS checks, and hold a full UK manual driving licence. Be flexible to work a 40-hour week across a rota including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays; part-time hours may also be considered. Demonstrate compassion, reliability, punctuality, and good IT knowledge in a team-focused environment and adhere to company policies and safeguarding practices.
