Job Summary
EMEA Technical Solution Engineer role providing 24/7 technical support to CDNetworks CDN customers. Responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact, troubleshooting complex web and networking issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure incident-free operations, monitoring and managing support cases, ensuring SLA adherence, assessing customer needs to recommend upgrades or features, analyzing impacts and implementing mitigation strategies, and documenting knowledge in a centralized location. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CE or related field, good understanding of Internet protocols, Linux, and CDN concepts, and ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts. English proficiency is required; Mandarin is a plus. Based in Malaysia with on-site responsibilities in Kuala Lumpur.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field
- Good understanding of Internet protocols, Linux, and CDN concepts
- Experience in system engineering / IT support / enterprise technical support would be an added advantage
- 12-hours-rotating shifts
