Job Summary
EMEA EDG Sales – Analyst or Associate covering institutional clients in Germany & Austria within Equity Derivatives; you will identify new business opportunities, understand and apply the full suite of products, develop innovative solutions with Structuring & Trading, collaborate with Trading, Legal, and Operations to ensure flawless trade execution, and drive the technology agenda for the Flow Sales workflow from Execution to Analytics. You will support senior sales with presentations, market analysis & market commentary, represent J.P. Morgan at conferences and events, and deepen client relationships through product pitches and client-centric solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of equity markets and derivatives, including pricing components
- Demonstrated experience of client coverage and execution in institutional sales & trading
- Ability to perform under pressure, as well as to deal confidently with people at all levels, internally and externally
- Reliability, attention to detail and a team-player mentality
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English & German
- Sales experience covering institutional clients across Germany & Austria
- Experience of generating trade ideas in Equity Derivatives
- Knowledge of programming tools & techniques
- An enquiring mind, perseverance and the ability to handle a large amount of information
- Initiative to question processes and strive for improvement
