Job Summary
EMEA Regional Controller for Fixed Income Financing leads the regional P&L, Risk, Balance Sheet and Liquidity controls for the desk, partnering with CIB Treasury, Corporate Treasury, Capital Management, Technology, Operations, and other Finance & Business Management teams to deliver strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include producing daily P&L and Risk, explaining moves, and contributing to technology uplift of P&L, Risk and Liquidity; maintaining robust controls; and managing ad-hoc analyses (scenario runs, stress tests, what-if analyses) to support decision making. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong Excel and finance-system proficiency, rigorous control mindset and ability to maintain audit trails, and proven experience in process improvement or automation in forecasting or reporting workflows. Preferred qualifications emphasize team leadership, independent prioritization across month-end and budget cycles, and solid understanding of fixed income financing products in a trading environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Relevant experience in product control, financial control, accounting, or a related finance discipline within markets or banking
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, advanced formulas; VBA/Macros a plus) and comfort with finance systems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a rigorous control mindset; ability to maintain comprehensive books and records and audit trails
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex drivers and variances to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and/or automation in forecasting or reporting workflows
