Job Summary
EMEA Mechanical Project Engineer responsible for engineering tasks across the conveyor systems project lifecycle in intralogistics. Key duties include creating approval layouts and detailed concepts from sales layouts, performing safety and ergonomic assessments, defining interfaces with other trades, developing bill of materials and technical specifications for purchased components, supporting installation, and coordinating with CE compliance. The role requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams (Project Delivery, Hardware Controls, Structural Engineering, Software Controls, Solution Development, Technical Purchasing, CE Compliance, Manufacturing, Installation), generation of mockups and data lists, and providing engineering support during customer meetings. Proficiency in AutoCAD, NX, Teamcenter, Navisworks, SAP, and related tooling, plus willingness to travel up to 5%, are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate engineer / Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 3-5 years of professional experience (we also welcome graduates)
- Expertise in project engineering (ideally in intralogistics or similar)
- Expertise in mechanical design (ideally in materials handling or similar)
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel (max 5% of the time)
