Job Summary
EMEA Liquidity Manager (Vice President) role in Nomura's Treasury/Liquidity Management function. Responsible for establishing and integrating climate-related considerations into liquidity management frameworks, including ILAAP and liquidity stress testing, in collaboration with Liquidity Stress Modelling and Risk departments. Partners with Global Treasury to ensure climate-liquidity risk identification, measurement, and monitoring capabilities; supports regulatory compliance and robust liquidity position management. Requires senior-level expertise in Treasury or Liquidity Risk, strong analytical and data-analysis capabilities, and proficiency with Excel and tools such as Python, Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI. Educational requirement is a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent; prior experience in investment banking liquidity reporting is preferred. UK visa/Right to Work considerations noted; location is London with an in-person office arrangement. The role emphasizes climate risk integration, regulatory requirements, stakeholder collaboration, and leadership within Finance and Risk teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent field
- Experience in Treasury or Liquidity Risk
- Investment banking product knowledge and understanding of their impact on Liquidity reporting
- Strong analytical/ numerical skills
- Ability to influence across varying levels of seniority within Finance and Risk
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Excel/ Data Analysis skills and experience with Python, Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI
