EMEA Facilities Capital Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage major facilities capital projects across the EMEA region, defining scope, timelines, and budgets from design through execution and handover. Coordinate cross-functional teams including internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and external service providers while identifying risks early to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. Manage administrative processes such as building permits and regulatory approvals, select and negotiate with suppliers, architects, and engineers, and monitor detailed project budgets and financial tracking. Provide clear reporting and dashboards for senior stakeholders highlighting progress, risks, budget status, and key milestones. This role requires willingness and ability to travel regularly across the EMEA region, up to 60%, and supports Bio-Rad's regional facilities investment strategy and operational sustainability initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in capital project management and/or team leadership within construction, engineering, or facilities environments
- Proven experience managing complex building, utility, or infrastructure projects from design through execution
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, financial tracking, and contract management
- Experience working with tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Office applications
- Solid understanding of quality systems, risk management, and safety and environmental standards in construction projects
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix and international environment
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and make balanced decisions
- Fluent English
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the EMEA region - up to 60%
