EMEA Event Manager (m/w/d)

Job Summary
The EMEA Event Manager will plan, coordinate and execute high-impact EMEA Tier 1 events and business-critical fairs (including flagship formats like LogiMAT) across physical and digital formats. Responsibilities include developing EMEA event plans and campaign activations, creating high-quality lead and brand magnets, driving experiential and technical showcase concepts, and coordinating with Field Marketing Managers across EMEA. You will manage end-to-end event project management, budgets, approvals, stakeholders, and cross-functional alignment; oversee pre-event logistics, shipping, booth materials, build-up and on-site delivery; support webinars and virtual formats, and lead post-event reporting and lead handling. The role requires strong stakeholder management, vendor/agency management, and the ability to translate complex solutions into engaging experiences that support brand and business objectives. Travel across EMEA is expected. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing/Communications/Event Management or a related field, 5+ years of B2B event management experience in EMEA, demonstrated budget management experience, references from recent event projects, and proficiency in coordinating with cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a strong advantage. Beneficial attributes include experience with trade fairs, experiential concept development, digital events, and the ability to deliver scalable, reusable booth concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, Digital Design or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in B2B event management in EMEA
- Proven ability to manage budgets of €100 - 800K+, build and run detailed project plans, and ensure timely stakeholder communications
- Candidates must provide references from recent event projects
- Experience in corporate trade fairs, business-critical fairs, customer events and complex stakeholder environments
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, suppliers, milestones and multiple workstreams under pressure
- Experience in campaign-related event planning, including digital events, webinars or virtual customer engagement formats
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across regional, global and cross-functional teams
- Experience working with Field Marketing, Commercial, Brand, Content, Creative, Product or Solutions teams
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and structured way of working
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for brand alignment, customer experience and visual event quality
- Experience in experiential concept development, technical showcases or reusable booth/showcase formats is a strong plus
- Experience with event logistics, booth build-up and breakdown, shipping, customs or technical materials across Europe is beneficial
- Fluent English required
- German language skills are a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel regularly across EMEA for events, planning meetings and on-site delivery
