EMEA Equity Research – Oil & Gas: Oil Services and Exploration & Production Sector – Analyst or Associate

Equity Research Analyst or Associate role in London focused on Oil & Gas, including Oil Services and Exploration & Production. You will partner with senior team members to produce differentiated investment research and thought leadership for institutional clients, build and maintain company valuation models and sector datasets, analyze company disclosures and market developments to support investment views, prepare earnings notes, company updates, thematic reports, and client-facing presentations, and engage with institutional investors and internal partners. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, solid financial modelling and numerical skills, deep sector curiosity, ability to distill complex issues into clear conclusions, ownership over workstreams, and the capacity to operate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The position sits within JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Oil & Gas Equity Research Team and involves interaction with Sales, Sales-Traders, and Traders, as well as monitoring sector, commodity, and macro developments daily and contributing to client marketing and timely market responses.
