Job Summary
Equity Exotics Product Controller responsible for producing a substantiated daily P&L and Market Risk reporting to Front Office and senior management. Partner with Front Office, Market Risk, Valuation Control, Financial Control, Operations, and Technology to ensure accurate reporting, robust controls, and timely escalation of issues. Drive robust controls and new business initiatives, assist with month-end close, and handle ad-hoc requests. Leverage analytical skills to interrogate large data, provide insights, and support Product Control initiatives in the EMEA Equity Derivatives space.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience within Product Control, Audit, Valuations or related area
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related area
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA preferred
- Experience/understanding of derivative products and financial theory
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
- Experience using Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Excel, VBA would be advantageous
