Job Summary
Execute the EMEA CCOR Testing Programme to assess the design and effectiveness of controls in financial crime processes; manage testing of business processes and controls against regulatory requirements; partner with Operational Risk and Compliance managers, and business stakeholders; validate action plans addressing identified issues; lead departmental projects; work with global testing partners to support global testing assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in Financial Crime/Compliance or Operational Risk experience in BSA/AML/KYC/Sanctions areas.
- Strong communication and influencing skills - able to work across groups (Compliance, Controls and allied business groups).
- Proven track record of successful stakeholder management.
- Understanding of operational risks and their drivers, and ability to challenge the design and effectiveness of the associated business controls.
- Ability to interpret financial regulations and regulatory requirements and assess operational compliance.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail and knowledge of control design and root cause analysis, including data analysis.
- Clear and concise verbal and written skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage, prioritise, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable interacting with, and presenting to, senior management, control functions, including internal and external auditors.
- Related experience such as audit, operations, business control management, or similar. ACAMS, ICA or comparable certification preferred.
