EMEA CDO - Firmwide BCBS239 Framework and UK SMF Data Risk Management Governance

Job Summary
Govern the UK SMF data risk management process within the EMEA Chief Data Office scope. Own the FW BCBS239 framework, run monthly and annual evidence gathering for BCBS239 compliance, develop strategic options for alignment of FW and JPMSE BCBS239 frameworks, promote data culture across the franchise, and partner with Compliance, Legal, Government Relations, Technology and Cybersecurity Policy to align data agenda with global policies and local regulatory requirements. Collaborate with EMEA CDO colleagues to define the data strategy in line with regulatory requirements and policy frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- B.A. in Finance or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a finance/ operations related field similar in leading financial institutions
- Understanding of data flows, and data controls
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to tailor a message to various levels of management
- Strong aptitude to work with a wide range of line of businesses and functions
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly motivated individual with excellent time management & organizational skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (including PitchPro)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, flexible and capable of engaging various functions, locations, and businesses
