Job Summary
EMDR Focused Therapist needed for outpatient services in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Provide individual therapy using EMDR and other evidence-based modalities to children, adolescents, and/or adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, and related concerns. Responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans, maintaining thorough clinical documentation, collaborating with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members, participating in monthly case consultation calls, and meeting productivity expectations around 13 weekly hours. Qualifications require a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field, an active NJ license (e.g., LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT), EMDR trained (EMDRIA approved); EMDR Certification is preferred but not required. Bilingual is a plus. The role offers a diverse client base, supportive environment, and tech-forward EHR system.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Active NJ license (LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
- EMDR trained (EMDRIA approved training required)
- EMDR Certification preferred but not required
- Experience working with trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
