Job Summary

EMC Mechanical Services seeks a Commercial Sheet Metal Helper to join our team in Richmond, VA as an apprentice with the goal of becoming a Sheet Metal Mechanic. You will assist with installation of sheet metal and duct work, cut slides and drives, operate a duct lift, and clean up the jobsite daily. You’ll learn from the assigned mechanic and work toward maintaining a passing grade in the apprenticeship program. Eligibility includes a high school diploma or equivalent, enrollment in sheet metal school or an approved apprenticeship, ability to read a tape measure, and reliable transportation to and from jobsites. Physical requirements include crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing/walking for extended periods.
