Job Summary
Senior Embryologist - Per Diem responsible for performing core embryology and andrology procedures essential to IVF treatments, including semen analysis, oocyte identification, embryo evaluations, embryo transfers, culture media preparation, quality control, cryogenic storage management, and chart/document management. Requires hands-on lab operations, data entry across lab databases, QA audits support, inventory control, and coordination of IVF cycle logistics. Candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences (or Bachelor’s with ABB certification) and Florida Medical Technology licensure; must satisfy High Complexity Testing requirements under CLIA and be able to work flexible day shifts on-site at the Pensacola, FL lab.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with Technical Supervisor (ABB) certification, or a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences
- Florida Medical Technology licensure/certificate required
- High Complexity Testing under CLIA Amendments, 42 C.F.R. §493.1489, as adopted by the Florida Department of Health
