Job Summary
Senior Embryologist III leads embryology and IVF laboratory operations, performing advanced ART procedures (including oocyte retrieval assessment, insemination, ICSI, embryo culture, biopsy, vitrification, and thawing), and ensuring quality control and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include mentoring junior embryologists and trainees, updating SOPs, participating in performance reviews and audits, providing on-call/weekend coverage, and collaborating on clinical research and development of new technologies (e.g., time-lapse imaging, AI embryo selection, cryo-optimization). Core competencies include precise embryology techniques, strong documentation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, clinical laboratory science, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in human embryology with progressive responsibility.
- Proficiency in ICSI, vitrification, embryo biopsy, and blastocyst culture.
- Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, and FDA tissue regulations.
