Job Summary

Operate and monitor an 8-head embroidery machine to produce high-quality embroidered products, loading garments, setting up designs and thread sequences, and performing routine maintenance including cleaning, oiling, and troubleshooting minor issues. Manage production runs by handling thread changes, bobbin replacements, and machine adjustments while maintaining schedules and meeting daily output targets. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, bag and label apparel for inventory or shipping, and report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while lifting up to 40 pounds in a warehouse environment. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM with potential overtime during peak periods.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating multi-head embroidery machines
  • Knowledge of embroidery techniques
  • Knowledge of digitizing basics
  • Knowledge of thread types
  • Ability to multitask and monitor multiple heads simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Quality control skills
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
  • Reliability
  • Punctuality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment for an extended amount of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with embroidery software Chroma
  • Understanding of different fabrics and stabilization techniques
  • Production or manufacturing experience
  • Experience operating multi-head embroidery machines (Ricoma preferred)
