Job Summary
Embroidery Machine Operator operates multiple-head embroidery sewing equipment to apply logos and decorative designs on headwear in a 100% on-site Miami, FL manufacturing environment. Reads work orders to determine embroidery type, color sequence, and location; loads embroidery files, manages thread colors and tensions, changes threads and needles as needed, and ensures proper placement and quality across parts. Must count parts, inspect for defects, follow tape instructions, and maintain production momentum while protecting confidential information. Requires teamwork, ability to perform under pressure, and willingness to work overtime; sewing skills and manufacturing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Sewing skills preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read work orders and understand embroidery specifications
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Able to work overtime including Saturdays
- Ability to wear PPE
- Attention to detail and accuracy
