Job Summary
Bring up, validate, and debug Linux kernels for advanced Axis hardware platforms, working closely with both hardware and software teams. Develop drivers, analyze faults, and contribute to upstream open source activities while managing the full platform development lifecycle from initial bring-up to ongoing maintenance. Perform lab work using oscilloscopes and signal measurements to troubleshoot hardware-software communication issues. This role supports both existing platform enhancements and next-generation development within the FT Kernel team, which manages kernel and driver development for proprietary and external SoCs.
Required Qualifications
- Ingenjörsutbildning inom teknisk fysik, elektroteknik eller datateknik
- Programmeringsvana i C
- Goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska
Desired Qualifications
- Erfarenhet av Linux‐kernel, exempelvis drivrutiner eller uppströmsarbete
- Arbete i inbyggda Linux‐miljöer, exempelvis scripting eller debugging
- Erfarenhet av bootloaders, RTOS eller byggsystem för inbyggda plattformar
- Erfarenhet av PCB‐design eller annan hårdvarunära utveckling
- Bidrag till open‐sourceprojekt och vana av C/C++/Rust/Python eller felsökningsverktyg
- Erfarenhet av Linux‐kernel, Raspberry Pi eller open‐sourceprojekt
