Embedded Systems Engineer II

Embedded Systems Engineer II responsible for design, development, integration, testing, and lifecycle support of embedded hardware and firmware across Nomad Total Command (NTC) and other Nomad platforms. Develop firmware and control logic in C/C++ for microcontrollers and embedded processors; integrate sensors, actuators, networking interfaces, and operator control systems; write and review JSON configuration files; participate in design reviews and meetings; provide troubleshooting and root-cause analysis; work in Linux-based environments (including Docker); contribute to hardware bring-up, PCB design, and cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, IT, human factors, software, and production teams; progressively grow through defined levels, improving reliability, determinism, manufacturability, and maintainability of embedded systems. Travel flexibility and adherence to Nomad Core Values are expected.
