Job Summary
Embedded Systems Emulation Engineer needed to architect, develop, implement, and test modular software tools for emulating cyber-physical systems. Extend emulation frameworks (QEMU) in C/C++ and Python; rehost firmware by analyzing binaries and hardware dependencies; build emulator tooling and virtual device models for embedded systems across architectures (e.g., ARM, PPC); develop integrated system simulations and verify model quality through testing against first principles and hardware/software artifacts. Strong fundamentals, curiosity, and ability to learn new tools are valued. Must hold US citizenship with an Active Secret clearance (Top Secret eligibility preferred) and meet security requirements. Education: BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field; experience with Git; familiarity with virtualization tools; knowledge of computer architecture and software engineering best practices. Pay range: $110,000–$151,000 annually. Locations include Arlington, VA; Melbourne, FL; San Diego, CA; Woburn, MA; with on-site employment at these offices.
