Job Summary
Embedded SW Engineers at Nextivity are responsible for designing, implementing, and testing real-time embedded software for the product line. This role requires expertise in embedded C/C++ programming, familiarity with tools like GitHub and JIRA, and a thorough understanding of concurrent embedded systems. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience and a proactive approach to teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years' experience in real-time embedded software development on platforms using Real-time Operating Systems
- Expert in embedded C/C++ programming
- Familiar with Software Development tools and processes including GitHub, JIRA and Confluence
- Thorough understanding of concurrent embedded systems using multiple threads or multiple CPUs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in the wireless industry preferred
- Experience in building devices that connect to Microsoft IOT Hub using MQTT
- Experience with programming RISC-V cores preferred
