Job Summary
Embedded Software Engineer responsible for designing and developing modular, high-performance embedded software in real-time C/C++, implementing and integrating software for embedded functions, participating in system integration, prototyping, deployment, and evaluation, conducting hardware testing and software debugging with supervision, supporting data analysis with scripting tools, and assisting with software release management and customer deliverables; requires BS in a related field, 0-2 years embedded experience, Linux-based embedded development, IP networking familiarity, GDB/Valgrind debugging, CMake and cross-compilation expertise, Git/CI familiarity, U.S. Citizenship, and ability to obtain Maintain DoD Secret Clearance; preferred exposure to radar/EW/unmanned systems and related tooling
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- 0-2 years of professional experience developing embedded software
- Working knowledge of C/C++ for embedded systems, including concurrency and memory management
- Experience with Linux-based embedded system development and network communication
- Basic understanding of IP networking fundamentals and protocol implementation/debugging
- Familiarity with debugging embedded applications (e.g., GDB, Valgrind)
- Experience with build management tools (CMake), dependency management, and cross-compilation
- Familiarity with Git source control and CI workflows
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
