Job Summary
Develop and test flight software for an autonomous, air-launched hypersonic test vehicle. Collaborate across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle from system development to ground and flight tests; integrate vehicle management system and subsystem interfaces; create components to interface with sensors and effectors; automate software verification and validation; support hardware integration and lab/bench testing; contribute to design/analysis for component development; travel as needed; and operate within a program that may require security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
- 2-5 years engineering experience
- Experience with real-time embedded software development
- Experience with serial communications, software test, and computer networking
- C++ 2014 and Python programming languages
- Real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Linux)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
