Job Summary
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software integrated into embedded devices that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards. Translate customer requirements into software designs, build code for specialized hardware, and support integration with hardware components. Analyze, monitor, and improve embedded software efficiency and stability while participating in testing and debugging. Implement emerging technologies, tools, and regulatory changes, and track team performance to ensure compliance with project plans and standards. Perform embedded software project management functions. Requires a U.S. Secret Clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. 3+ years of embedded software experience required; 9+ years preferred for senior level. Shift 1; 10% travel; relocation offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- Active US Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires
- U.S. Citizenship
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software development
- Level 4: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 9+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 13+ years of directly related work experience OR 17+ years of related, relevant experience
- Travel: 10%

Desired Qualifications
- Experience do you have in Matlab/Simulink
- Experience developing software for motion planning, estimation, and/or control
- Experience developing software for real-time, near real-time, or embedded systems
- Experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain
- Experience leading software development projects using Agile development methodologies
