Job Summary
SoC Simulation Engineer in Marvell's Virtual Platforms group develops accurate functional models for SoC designs and collaborates with software teams to enable early-stage development before silicon. Responsibilities include creating efficient models, diagnosing and resolving firmware issues from simulation results, and promoting adoption of virtual platforms. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in CS/EE or related field with 3-5 years of experience (Master’s/PhD with fewer years also considered), strong Python and C++, understanding of firmware/software architecture, and familiarity with simulator tech (e.g., Virtualizer, Simics, QEMU, gem5) and computer architecture (ARM and/or RISC-V) is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields
- at least 3-5 years of related professional experience
- Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2-3 years of experience
- Other majors may be considered if you have enough knowledge or experience in this area.
