Job Summary
Embedded software engineer responsible for the embedded software development lifecycle for one or more products, including requirements management, design, coding, unit testing, and verification. Works fairly independently under guidance from senior team members or leads. Requires Qt/Linux skills with Qt Creator; strong C/C++ design and coding abilities, preferably with embedded medical device experience. Responsibilities include feature development, defect fixes, infrastructure maintenance, and cybersecurity awareness applied to development tasks. Collaboration with internal and external partners is emphasized. The role is hybrid and based in the Boston office at 125 Summer Street across from South Station.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or BSEE
- 2 years related experience using C/C++ in a software engineering role
- C/C++ experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Qt/Linux skills including development with Qt Creator
- Experience with real-time operating systems (preferred)
