Job Summary
Embedded Software Engineer for Camera Systems responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining firmware for image capture and processing on spacecraft. Develop low-level drivers for camera modules using MIPI CSI-2, USB, SPI, and I2C; interface with image sensors; implement camera configuration, triggering, and synchronization; support data capture and streaming during ground and in-flight operations; collaborate with image processing teams to define firmware requirements and APIs; contribute to bring-up, debugging, and tuning of camera subsystems in hardware-in-the-loop setups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience writing C/C++ code for embedded systems
- experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, hardware debuggers, and source-level debuggers
- understanding of I2C, SPI, and MIPI-based camera interfaces
